Tree Decorating Party: With an early start to Advent this year, we'll need all hands on deck next Wednesday, December 2 at 6 pm at the church to get the sanctuary decorated for Christmas. We'll have a chili potluck supper, so bring a pot of chili, pan of cornbread, or chili fixin's to share, then we'll head into the sanctuary for tree-decorating and garland-hanging. Women’s Event: Join the women of Redeemer as we bless our second-time moms Liz Jarvis and Jamie Mills at a shower of blessings on Friday, December 4 at 7:30 pm at Sarah Dowling’s home (1393 Southern Magnolia Ln., 29464) hosted by the ladies of the Mount Pleasant and West Ashley community groups. Volunteers Needed: For Children's Church, our children (ages 3K- Kindergarten) are dismissed from the worship service following the offering. We need volunteers to help facilitate their time during the sermon which includes a Jesus Storybook Bible video for about 10 minutes, a craft, a snack, and some free play time. All materials and supplies are prepped already, so contact Margaret Belton to help. We especially encourage parents to sign up and help, as we live in Covenant Community with their children.

Downtown Christmas Music: Redeemer's own Kyle Babb invites everyone for a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 6 at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church (48 Meeting St., 29401), featuring sacred choral Christmas music and Scripture readings presented by the students of First Baptist School.
