An Evening with Ron MacLean 

December 14 at the PEI Brewing Company

Canadian hockey icon Ron MacLean will be in Charlottetown Monday, December 14, headlining a fundraising event for the UPEI men’s hockey program.

Organized by the UPEI Men’s Hockey Booster Club, MacLean will be sharing stories and answering questions during the fundraiser at the PEI Brewing Company. Doors open at 6:30 pm with MacLean mixing and mingling then taking the podium at 7:00 pm.  

Tickets are $60 per person and are available by contacting Forbie MacPherson at mhockey@upei.ca, Mike O'Brien at mike.obrien@live.ca or Lennie Kelly at lennie.kelly@apei.ca. This event is for 19+ only.

Halifax Alumni and Friends


There will be a Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 17 at Brightwood Golf & Country Club for 12 noon for UPEI, SDU, and PWC Alumni.

Legacy of St. Dunstan's University still strong at UPEI

UPEI is getting a new institute for Christianity and culture, thanks to the St. Dunstan's University foundation.

It will provide more opportunities for students in the religious studies faculty.

The new institute will receive $50,000 a year for 10 years. Along with a $500,000 donation to the UPEI capital funds project, the SDU foundation has pledged $1 million to UPEI.
