FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS WEEK
1. Giving Tuesday
This Tuesday, December 1, is Giving Tuesday, an annual day of giving to local charities, including the San Antonio Clubhouse. Share the event with your family and friends, and visit SupportTheClubhouse.org for more information on how to help your Clubhouse!
2. Birdies for Charity
The Valero Texas Open kicks off in April. But until then, we have the opportunity to sell Good Any One Day tickets to the Open, particularly during the 12 Days of Giving, which begins December 1!
In addition, the Birdies for Charity promotion allows donors to wager a given donation amount per birdie played at this year's Valero Texas Open, adding up to a big fundraising opportunity for the SA Clubhouse. Stay tuned for more details soon!
3. New Building Renovations
Renovations continue at our new building at 6851 Citizens Parkway. Though we'll be moving over into our new space a little later than expected, it's so exciting to know that our opening is so close! With over 50% more space than our previous home on Recoleta Rd -- and almost ten times the space than we've grown accustomed to over the past few months -- rest assured, it'll be an exciting move-in month.
Expect more information soon about our move-in date!
4. The Good Dinosaur @ Embassy Oaks Theater
Arlo, a cute and lovable Apatosaurus, is just trying to find a friend in Disney-Pixar's latest flick, The Good Dinosaur. Join us at Embassy Theaters this Tuesday at 5:00 PM for the charming tale of Arlo, who, despite being a dinosaur, is harmless and helpful in his quest to find friends and a new family.
$3.00 deposit required. Free event. Meet at Clubhouse by 4:30 PM.
5. Tamales! Holiday Festival at Pearl
Join us for the sixth annual Tamales! Holiday Festival at Pearl Brewery this coming Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Come for the tamales, stay for the holiday spirit! We'll be celebrating the season and enjoying the atmosphere of the Historic Pearl and Museum Reach of the Riverwalk.
$3.00 deposit required. Free event. Food and beverages at Pearl from $1.00 to $5.00.
