Call for articles "Sustainable land use: How geology can contribute": The Editor-in-Chief of European Geologist invites you to submit article proposals for issue 41 of the Journal. We expect contributions related to the topic. Please send your article proposal (name of the author(s), title of the article and a short abstract of about 10 lines) by 15 January 2016 to staff and layout editor Anita Stein (anita.stein@eurogeologists.eu) and cc to the Editor-in-Chief (eva.hartai@eurogeologists.eu). The Editorial Board of EGJ will decide about the acceptance of the articles and selected articles shall be submitted in their full version by 15 March 2016. The articles will be peer reviewed and also reviewed by a native English speaker. You may find the guidelines for authors at http://eurogeologists.eu/journal/.
EFG projects | KINDRA hydrogeology workshop postponed: The hydrogeology workshop to be held on 24 and 25 November 2015 in Brussels had to be postponed due to the maximum security alert level in Brussels. As a matter of consequence, the programme will be reduced to a one-day orientation workshop for national experts.
