Exciting news!

Thanks to everyone who signed the petition calling for the cancellation of Greece's unjust debt and the creation of UN rules to deal with government debt crises fairly and promptly.

Over 100,000 people have now signed and our campaign partners have delivered the petition directly to Thomas Weiser, President of the Eurogroup Working Group, ensuring the call for cancellation was heard loud and clear at the EU.

We will be continuing to gather signatures from citizens across Europe, pressure key decision makers, and demand action for a just resolution to this and other sovereign debt crises.

Can you help us create a fair solution to the debt crisis with a £5 donation today?

The Greek crisis is a vivid reminder that creating a fair and transparent mechanism for debt workouts is fundamental to achieving economic justice around the world.

We have an exciting opportunity here in Scotland to help drive debt workouts forward!

Creditor countries like the UK are stalling progress towards debt workouts at the UN. But in 2012, Jubilee Scotland and Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Europe and External Affairs for the Scottish Government, launched Scotland's Sovereign Debt Arbitration Framework.  Putting this framework into action will provide an essential space for countries seeking debt arbitration with human rights and sustainable development at its core.

With a new debt crisis looming, countries literally cannot afford to wait. You can make a huge difference by supporting debt workouts here in Scotland.

Can you help us move the framework for debt workouts into action with a donation of £5 today?

Thank you for all of your commitment and support.

In solidarity,

Ashley
