SAC's upcoming national conference will take place in Halifax, N.S. from April 27 – 30, 2016. For the first time, the conference will exclusively feature speech-language pathology content*. This is a learning and networking event that speech-language pathologists, students and S-LP assistants won't want to miss!

You can see our highly-anticipated speaker lineup and education program by visiting our conference website.

*SAC's 2016 national conference will only feature speech-language pathology content because SAC is co-hosting the World Congress of Audiology, which will exclusively feature audiology content, in September.
DISCOUNT ON GROUP REGISTRATION FEES

We're offering a 10% discount to groups of five or more. Student volunteers are also eligible for discounted rates — stay tuned for more information.

Social deficits are known to be a significant problem for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, social anxiety and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Yet very few evidence-based social skills programs exist for high-functioning individuals with these conditions. Dr. Aarti Nair of the UCLA Semel Institute will provide an overview of PEERS, an empirically supported social skills program for teens and young adults and their parents. Dr. Nair will also give an overview of an adaptation of the treatment program for toddlers as well as rules and steps of social etiquette for youth struggling with these skills. Click here to learn more.
