Join discussion on boat dismantling in Paris

In just 10 days, the public conference on "Boat's end-of-life: truly the end?" will take place at the Paris International Boat Show. Industry experts will look at the existing initiatives around the world and available solutions for boat owners. Joined by the European Commission, the panel will then debate with the audience on the key issues in the establishment and operations of boat dismantling schemes.

On 10 November, European Boating Industry's Secretary General spoke at the workshop organised by Sardegna Ricerche, the Sardinian R&D agency, about "Smart & Sustainable Boating in the Mediterranean".

Ready for 18 January 2016

With the new EU Directive on watercraft 2013/53/EU applying from 18 January 2016 onwards, EU Member States are now in the final run to get their national legislations in line with the new requirements. We report from the meeting of market surveillance authorities held in Riga (Latvia) this month.
