Program coordinator moving from Utah

At the end of this year my family and I are moving back east. I will miss many things from Utah and high on that list is my job with Utah Water Watch.

I want to thank USU Water Quality Extension staff, especially Nancy Mesner, for all their work to make UWW possible. Also, the Utah Division of Water Quality Non Point Source and iUTAH programs provided financial support. It has been my pleasure to work with numerous state agencies, watershed scientists, and educators across the state.

Most of all I want to thank the volunteers. In my 4 years here, volunteers have submitted over 2,000 monitoring reports! That's 2,000 times a volunteer went to a stream or lake to help scientists protect Utah's water. I'm continually impressed and inspired by the dedication and passion of our amazing volunteers. We only have success because of your efforts.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to help establish UWW and trust that it will continue to expand to new heights in the coming years. I will watch your success from afar and look forward to return trips to visit Utah's spectacular lakes and streams!

Sincerely - Brian T. Greene
