Update from founder
Dear friends,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

I'm thrilled to share that Calm Clarity has made remarkable progress as a start-up social enterprise combining science and mindfulness to help people transform.
  1. We continue to engage with urban educators at schools such as Central High, KIPP Philadelphia, and Strawberry Mansion High School.
  2. We continue to build and strengthen relationships with colleges such as the University of Pennsylvania, Cabrini College, and New York University. (NYU will host our first retreat program in New York City on Jan 30, 2016).
  3. We are also building a strong entry point in corporate training. Senior professionals from established companies have joined our weekend retreat programs and recommended it to their colleagues.

Further, our unique social venture and powerful story recently caught the attention of the Philadelphia Inquirer business reporter, Erin Arvedlund. Erin's article, "Turning her stress into a tool for others" (printed on the cover of the business section on Nov 30) has already started a positive ripple effect.

The Calm Clarity Program is an innovative trauma-informed training that uses science to help people break free from the negative spiral that chronic stress, trauma, and adversity can cause. Our training empowers people to take ownership of their mindset and brain development, foster self-mastery, and create positive spirals among their peers, families, and communities.

We have now created two training packages, one tailored for professional development and one that supports people to overcome great hardships.
  1. The Calm Clarity Mindful Leadership Program - a series of 4 modules focused on building skills that help professionals enhance their effectiveness, create richer connections with people, and build resilience.
  2. The Calm Clarity Essential Life Skills Program - a series of 10 modules (including the Mindful Leadership Program modules) to build skills that help people to overcome adversity, neutralize toxic stress, and become a positive force for change in society.

The need for this type of training in low-income communities is very widespread and very urgent. Therefore we need your support for our social justice initiatives so we can continue to work with inner city schools to serve low-income students.

Please consider one or more of the following:

1. Experience Calm Clarity for yourself by joining a Calm Clarity retreat (or buy a ticket for someone you love):
2. Request your company to bring in Calm Clarity as a professional development training and recommend Calm Clarity to your colleagues and friends.

3. Make a donation to support
our social justice mission
