SEASON GREETINGS FROM THE NSSD DOG TEAM

The holidays are a time to gather with friends.  This year we have made so many new friends, and you are one of them!

We appreciate your interest and support this past year with Next Step Service Dogs.  As a result of the support of our friends, we were able to   train 20 new dogs to help in long-term recovery for our military veterans and first responders.

This next year, we’d like to do even more.

Please consider a year-end gift to Next Step Service Dogs to help us train service dogs to help our heroes.

Why do our heroes need your help?:
  • An estimated 600,000 service men and women are dealing with the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder  or Traumatic  Brain Injury
  • Our first responders suffer similar injury in their line of work
  • Our service dogs  help  alleviate extreme anxiety by creating a safety buffer in front/beside/behind the client in a store or crowd, by reconnoitering a dark home and turning on lights to reassure the client, and by diverting the client when anxiety climbs, to name a few tasks.
If you’d like to hear more about our story or make a donation,

Your gift counts.  Thank you for helping us help our heroes.
Please take the time to view this short video to see how your dollars big or small make a difference in the lives of our Heroes!
