#20 - Feedback

It is pretty rare when one of my finished comics gets online without any changes from the original raw idea in my head. The idea matures, changes, evolves, whatever. It just happens. I can swap out a word here or there, change the characters involved, or just go in a different direction.
I often ask Stephanie, my wife, for input on my comics. It could be the dialogue, the drawings, or the overall concept. She helped me work out what ended up being my final idea for tomorrow's comic. You can read it on clattertron.com tomorrow, but my original raw idea was a bit different.
What she suggested I actually thought of too, but hearing her say the same thing told me it was the stronger idea then what I currently had on paper.
That's why I like asking Stephanie for input. While she has her own artistic skills and outlets, Stephanie doesn't make comics, so she's a good sounding board. She's not as close to it as I am.
Plus, she gives much better feedback than the cats.
Daniel J. Hogan asks his cats for feedback a lot, but the details are fuzzy. This newsletter contains affiliate links, unless it doesn't
