The view from here...
Sometimes it's the charming, little things in life that, when collected, have great impact. Perhaps because of my affinity for accumulated scraps of paper :) I was fascinated recently by a New Yorker article about artist Harry Everett Smith, who collected paper airplanes found on the streets of New York... sculptural ephemera!
And speaking of paper in motion, it's been a great year in terms of my art career — thanks to the many people who have supported and encouraged me along the way. "Paper Trails," at Spark Gallery this fall (above) was a definite highlight. I look forward to many artful adventures in the new year.
