England netball player visits King Harold Academy
England netball international Lindsay Keable visited King Harold Academy to train the Under-16 and Year 9 teams.
Lindsay, who plays professionally for Hertfordshire Mavericks, started playing netball at the age of seven and was first selected for England at U19 level at the age of 17.
She went on to play for England Under-21s and represented her country at the World Youth Championships in 2009 where they came fourth.
In 2010 she was selected for the national squad and has since competed in a number of test series.
PE teacher Eleana Clark said: "Lindsay took a fantastic session with the girls on attacking and defending. The students worked so hard and loved every minute of the session. Hopefully they will take what they’ve learnt and implement this into their next game."
