KC Streetcar Vehicle #802 will arrive in Kansas City this week. This is the second in a fleet of four streetcar vehicles for the downtown route. Check our website, Twitter and Facebook pages for more information.
KC STREETCAR TESTING & PARKING
Testing of KC Streetcar vehicle #801 continues this week with runs on Main Streetcar happening daily. Please do not park on the tracks or double park on the streetcar route. When parking along the streetcar route, please make sure the entire parked vehicle is within the white painted line, this includes wheels and side mirrors.
8th & 9th: Crosswalk restoration. Be alert for lane drops.
10th: Southwest corner restoration. Be alert for pedestrian detour.
10th: EastboundONLY from Baltimore - Main on 12/9.
13th: Northwest corner restoration. Be alert for pedestrian detour.
14th Street closed between Main - Grand for KC Power & Light work. Will reopen for the weekend. Work estimated to last 2-3 weeks.
Main St Viaduct ADA work. Involves demo work.
Job wide sidewalk pour backs, brick restoration, street light work, and permanent signage installs continue.
Job wide street lighting, WiFi installs, and power substation work. Day & night work.
DOWNTOWN DAZZLE

About the Downtown Kansas City Streetcar Starter Line
The two-mile, north-south Downtown KC Streetcar will travel along Main Street and connect the River Market to Crown Center and Union Station, serving the Central Business District, the Crossroads Art District, and the Power and Light District, as well as numerous businesses, restaurants, art galleries, educational facilities and residents.
