Team Cleveland Wins 1st Tournament of the Year - The Fab 5

Team Cleveland took advantage of making the cut by a mere 4 pins to steamroll the competition to win the December Fab 5 Baker team tournament held at Odyssey Fun Center on December 5th.

Team Cleveland consisted of Ben Cleveland, the the father/child teams of Kristen Wieck/Steve Wieck and Cody Eickberg/Scott Eickberg.

In the finals Team Cleveland defeated the Party Animals handily 461-379. As it happens to be, the Party Animals are part of the strike at the Kohler Company. No matter your opinion of the strike itself, it would have made for an awesome story had they preailed as champions.

By virtue of their victory, Ben, Cody, Kristen, Steve and Scott are tied for the lead in the Roto Grip Bowler of the Year competition that culminated following the last event in February. To view a complete listing of the points through this tournament, click here.

While not part of the 5-Star Tour, the Survivor series is open to 5-Star Tour bowlers run by the same people.
