Changes ahead

The year has flown by as it usually does. But I am looking forward to the beginning of next year as there has been much change with Implement over the last month - although the core services offered remain the same.

I have given up the KiwiHost Franchise for Taranaki. I continue to love the product and delivering the courses, but it is a part of my business where demand is shrinking, so it makes sense to give it up. KiwiHost has been an iconic brand, offering valuable customer service training to New Zealanders for over 20 years.
I have also moved my business home again and have given up the office in Devon St. I will be doing less public courses, the type of work I am doing means I am not in the office very much and now with technology, the way we work does not require an office.
Tessa has got married and looking at new opportunities, so with the move from a central office, the Associates model we have been operating for the last seven years has also been revisited. The focus will become increasingly on the on-line training so Implement and Associates will slowly change to Implement Online. Tessa's Food Safety courses are already on-line.
Some of the changes have been difficult to make as I have many memories of the office, KiwiHost and the people I have worked with. But I am very excited to be starting 2016 with new ideas, new products and renewed enthusiasm.
I am still offering the same services I have always offered to business and community groups. Services that will help you to articulate your strategy, develop your systems and your people, and build a strong organisation.

Something New

Implement Online

All good things take time, so they say, and our on-line learning system is one of them. We have Food Safety training operational and being used, while Managing Yourself (Time Management) and Interview Skills (for job seekers) are the next to be completed.
We have a brand new website. Take a look and register if you are interested in being kept up to date with new learning modules.
I am really excited by what we are creating. I am excited by the opportunity technology now gives us to deliver good learning in new and interesting ways. I am "old fashioned" enough to want to follow proven adult learning processes to ensure good learning. It is taking me time to develop the courses within the limits of the technology I am using, but it is a fun project.
Over the next few months we will continue to turn all of the courses we offer face to face, into online offerings.

Workshops and seminars

For your team:
A wide range of training/facilitated workshops are available to meet the needs of your team. Personal development such as communication, time management, stress management or problem solving; team development which includes diagnostics such as DiSC or Talent Dynamics; Organisational development such as strategy, planning, or continuous improvement - all can be customised for you to suit your budget and timeframes.

Consulting

For your organisation:
If you have a problem to investigate, a review to be done or a snapshot of an aspect of your organisation, then a consultation may be what you need.
The outcome will be a report with recommendations for you to follow if you choose. I can help with implementation if required.

Outsourced support

I also offer management, project management or organisational development support as an outsourced service. This means I become part of the team for the duration of the contract.
Currently I am working at capacity for outsourced services.
If, after the end of May, 2016, you have a temporary gap that needs to be filled for up to 10 hours a week, then I can help.

Coaching or mentoring

One-on-one:
Whether you are a business owner or manager/supervisor, one on one coaching or mentoring will provide you with personalised development, specific to your needs and the needs of your organisation.
12 week programmes have been approved by NZTE for capability vouchers, enabling eligible organisations to receive a subsidy. The longer programmes provide the best value for you and your organisation as you will be implementing change by the end of the programme.
However, shorter time periods are possible, depending on your needs and budget.

I am also approved as a capability mentor for MSD for organisations eligible for that service.

Community Support

I have been involved in a collaborative project to build capacity in the community sector. If you are involved with a not-for-profit the website is an excellent resource.
