Adam Hawkins leaves Veridus to start own firm

Hawkins launches Global External Relations
 
 

Phoenix, AZ – Veridus and Veridus Director Adam Hawkins jointly announce that Adam is founding his own firm: Global External Relations.

Global External Relations will be a multidisciplinary firm focused on helping clients with complex external relations challenges. Hawkins’ firm will specialize in the following areas: strategic consulting; strategic outreach (including stakeholder identification and mapping); regulatory and government relations; permitting; fatal flaw analyses; and legislative matters.

“I appreciate the opportunity I’ve had to work with a talented team at Veridus. Now, I’m thrilled to begin my own venture with Global External Relations,” Adam said. “The world is a pretty complicated place, and companies know their reputation is always under the microscope. I founded Global External Relations to help clients put their best foot forward and reach their goals.”

A leading authority when it comes to government relations, public affairs and community outreach related to natural resources policy, Adam joined Veridus in February 2014.

Global External Relations will specialize in crafting and understanding public-opinion metrics; driving public support via strategic messaging; forging partnerships; stakeholder identification and outreach planning. These tactics are essential when it comes to building community support so that clients can proceed with large-scale projects.

Adam has worked in external relations and government affairs for over a decade. Prior to joining Veridus, he led the public-policy practice at the national law firm of Polsinelli PC, where he assisted clients on issues that included: the environment; water; natural resources; taxation; HR; commerce; transportation; and public lands. Earlier, Adam spent six years with Rio Tinto, an international mining company with projects on five continents.
