Chip Sakakeeny and five of our students enjoyed the Briarwood Advent Retreat last weekend. They had a lot of fun, made new friends, constructed wreaths, enjoyed s'mores and reflected on the season of Advent.

 Advent worship. Please join us each Wednesday during Advent for a thirty-minute evening worship service at 7:00 p.m. The setting will be Holden Evening Prayer. Come worship and invite a friend.

 Christmas cards. Thanks to our elementary students who made Christmas cards for members away at college. The "study hard" wishes and Starbucks gift cards were met with enthusiastic thank yous! Thanks to the Member Care Committee for taking such good care of our college students.

 Christmas Sweets and Treats. This Sunday, December 13, the young adults are invited to the home of Emily and Chad Nelson for supper from 5:00-7:00 p.m. RSVP on the Facebook event page so we can get a count for supper. Please bring your favorite Christmas treat to share. As always, friends are welcome!

 Middle school party. All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to the home of Jason and Renee Burchell for a Christmas party on Wednesday, December 16, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. We'll be eating dinner, decorating cookies and watching a holiday movie. For more information, please contact Taylor.

 Ornament exchange. Kim Riley is hosting an ornament exchange party at her home for all ladies of the church. The party is this Monday, December 14, at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a salad, appetizer or dessert to share along with a wrapped ornament.
