JoAnn Contorno - Ladies Holiday Brunch and Silent Auction
This Saturday, Dec 5, 10:30 AM -
It's not too late to come and invite friends to the Ladies Brunch and Silent Auction this Saturday, December 5th, 10:30-12:30. There will be delicious food, hilarious entertainment from Tucson speaker, JoAnn Contorno, sparkly items to bid on and a bunch of "handsome helps" waiting tables. Tickets are $20 each but we've had a few tickets donated so if you're holiday budget is too tight just let us know that you'd like to come via one of the complimentary tickets and we'll sign you up. Candle light Christmas eve Services
Be a part of the magical time as we celebrate the Christmas season. make plans now to come to the 4:00 PM or 5;30 PM service. bring the whole family for this intimate time together.

Aldea Kids
The kids with continue to celebrate Christmas and also learn a little about the traditions of Hanukkah. We will read a story about a family who combines both of these traditions in one family.
Please let me know if you are interested in your child performing during the service on December 20th.

Youth First
Youth First will meet this Sunday, December 6 at 10:30 AM for the annual white elephant gift exchange hosted by our own Debbie Sprenger!! Bring your favorite white elephant ($1) gift and let the games begin. For more details email us at info@LovePeriod.org

ICS Holiday Food Bags - happening now!
Aldea is once again supporting Interfaith Community Services as they prepare to hand out holiday food bags to 3,000 recipients.
We can help these people enjoy a traditional meal by bringing non-perishables such as stuffing mix, instant potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and other Thanksgiving food to our donation box. We will collect now at Aldea through December 13 to include Christmas supplements also. For more details email info@LovePeriod.org

Prayer of the Week
God of peace and love,
It is a season of anticipation. The journey to meet you has begun. Just as one would pack their bag for a trip, may I carefully select what to place in my heart. Let me choose just the right words of kindness, some charity for my fellow man, some joy to brighten the days, and enough love to share with all. Let me gift the joy of anticipation with each one I meet along the way. The path is there. May it be bright with the love and peace I can offer. I am alive with joy. I on my way. I'm counting my steps and anticipating the arrival.

Let each day unfold as the wrappings of a beautiful gift. Let my mind and my heart be focused on my destination. I am journeying to you. I'm traveling to be in your presence. With each step let me become ready. Ready to meet you. Ready for your embrace. Amen
