FRESH CHRISTMAS TREES AT THE MARKET!
Celebrate Christmas with a fresh Christmas Tree from the Market! The team from Santa Trees will be selling their locally grown trees at the Grote St entrance of the Market from 8am – 1pm on 5 December and 12 December 2015. Every tree is cared for and shaped throughout the year, so bring the family along to select that perfect tree to take home and decorate.

EXTENDED TRADING HOURS CHRISTMAS 2015
The Market is a hive of activity during the festive season, brimming with a huge variety of fresh, specialty and artisan produce available to buy and share with family and friends.
The Market will be open extended Christmas trading hours Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 December from 7am - 7pm and Christmas Eve 24 December from 6am - 6pm^.
The Market will reopen in time to stock up for New Year's festivities from 7am - 5.30pm on Tuesday 29 December, 9am - 5.30pm on Wednesday 30 December and 9am - 5.30pm^ New Year's Eve Thursday 31 December, with normal trading resuming Saturday 2 January 2016.

CHRISTMAS COOKING
Festive fare doesn’t need to be complicated! Sometimes you just need a starting point, and this festive season we’re going back to basics with Jane Reilly to help you decide what to include on your Christmas table. Our traders Tony O’Connell (from O’Connell Meats), Michelle and Sam (from Samtass Bros Seafood) and Alex Knoll (from Barossa Fine Foods) will be sharing their tricks of the trade and demonstrating how to cook and serve the Christmas classics. There will also be giveaways, tastings and lots of Q&A!

Friday 4 December at 11am - Tony from O’Connell Meats will be demonstrating how to glaze, carve and store your ham
Tuesday 8 December at 11am – Michelle and Sam from Samtass will be demonstrating how to serve some of South Australia’s finest seafood (plus Jane’s special seafood sauce!)
Friday 11 December at 5.30pm – Alex from Barossa Fine Foods will be demonstrating how to make the perfect stuffing for duck and turkey
