Taking one step toward progress:
On the back of our successful fundraising for potters in Nepal, Slow Clay Centre was approached by Canberra-based Abundant Water who are on a mission to take a locally designed ceramic water purification project to Nepal. By combining training local craftspeople to make porous clay water filters with business training they will provide ongoing work for Nepali potters. We are very excited to support this great initiative and will work with them to connect with Nepali potters. You can read more here and donate here. Please consider supporting Abundant Water's crowd-funding campaign instead of a Christmas present this year.
