Research Bulletin - December 2015 (Issue 2)

It has been a year of change and development across NHS Research Scotland, but as 2015 draws to a close there is much positive work to reflect on. Scotland's new Health and Social Care Research Strategy launched, providing the underpinning framework to support health research in Scotland over the next five years. The largest annual NRS conference was delivered, demonstrating the thriving research community in Scotland. Active recruitment of Research Champions, Performance Managers and the Central Management Team alongside improvements in our infrastructure, systems and processes also put NRS in a strong position to further develop through 2016, and ensure NHS Scotland provides the best environment to support clinical research. We look forward to more great work in the New Year and wish you a happy festive season.
