Quilling Letters 101 - Part 2
Tracing Letters

After choosing my sans serif font (Source Sans Pro, Bold, at 150 pt) and printing out my letters, I can use either a dried up pen or use my digital die cutter's scoring tool to trace each letter. Either way, it leaves a subtle debossed line and when my quilling strip strays from it, it's harder to tell.

I also use another tool, commonly found in a completely different part of my craft room, to shape my letters. Read more about how to trace your letters with quilling strips.
My e-newsletter subscribers enjoy $15 off my Craftsy class!
Do you have a party and need to make some party favors fast? My free snowflake and candy cane boxes are easy and fun to make. I used this same template for my nephew's baptism – even a wedding!

Has anyone made a snowstorm of quilled snowflakes yet? There's still plenty of time to make them for greeting cards or decorations.

Try my Arctic snowflake pattern - no rulers needed!
If you enjoyed making the candy canes and snowflake party favors, I have more designed for Santa, his elf, Frosty, and a tree in my Etsy shop.
I love letting my two loves, quilling and die cutting, meld together. The Poinsettia Collection (in my Etsy shop) includes a wreath and many other treats.
