MYANMAR

The last week of October we had an amazing time with 60 precious children of God in Yangon, Myanmar at two of our partner homes! They were such good soil to sow into as their hearts eagerly took in each lesson as we taught about knowing God better and His heart to touch their nation through their lives. After our lessons we laid hands on each child and spoke God’s destiny and word over their lives. We also prayed for the children to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and it was awesome to hear many of them receive their prayer language! We believe God is wanting to raise an army of young warriors and it’s all about equipping them for His Great Mission!

One of our highlights was getting to go out together on an outreach in the slums with some of the older children. As we sat in a very stuffy and dim-lit hut it was exciting to hear the children share their testimonies of God’s reality in their lives to the other children and adults living in the slum. We shared the Gospel in that hut to 34 people and every one of them dedicated their lives to Christ that day! We gave them easy to read Gospel follow-up booklets in which a local pastor will use to teach these new believers the next steps in their faith in God.

Here’s a picture of the 500 items of illustrated Gospel Literature we picked up at a local printing press to distribute to our partner homes to use for the outreach they do in their communities and slums. Pray God’s Word will have a dramatic impact on the lives of each of those who receive a booklet.

Both children’s homes were in need of refrigerators and a freezer as they were having to make daily journeys to the market for food supplies. This can be especially difficult during monsoon rainy season, but thanks to friends like you they’ll be able to store a good supply of the food they need! Additionally we bought battery powered lamps for one home to assist with the daily power outages and then also got them electric fans as they have no air-cooling units and the humidity can be unbearable inside the homes. Their quality of life matters. Thank you for helping us make it that much better!

Also pictured: The kids each got to have their own special gift packs full of goodies and surprises! Then we got to take them to dinner at a restaurant which was a rare treat as well as ice cream all around! Their smiles makes God smile!

We are very excited to introduce to you our first and completely in-house edition of Jesus and Me, children's foundational curriculum!!! Our goal is to help children from predominately Buddhist and Hindu nations to understand what a friend they have in Jesus and to empower them to walk in His ways!

There are 15 lesson plans, including crafts, games and coloring pages. We are now in the process of getting the curriculum translated into Nepali, Telegu, Burmese and other Asian languages for each of our partner homes and so they can be more widely used. (There are a number of English speakers at each home so they are immediately able to make use of the material.) One of the most common needs I come across in these countries are for resources and we want to make these available to each children's home and their ministry staff as a gift.

NEPAL & INDIA

NEW HOMES!
Praise God!!! Look what God has done for our boys in Nepal (top pictured) and India (bottom)! Due to difficulties with the earthquakes in Nepal, our search for a house facility for our street boys ministry has taken quite a long time. We’re all so excited our Lions get a home to be cared for and discipled in with loving caretakers! The house is right across from the church and the whole congregation have taken the boys in like family!

Likewise, in India we have recently found a great home for the street boys to live in! Their previous home was destroyed in a rainstorm and we’ve been in search for a stable residence for them. We have listed the need for homes in our past prayer email-letters and social media posts and now we're so excited to see God respond to all our prayer joined together! Praise God! Thank you for those of you who have joined with us in prayer and in your support!

POKHARA, NEPAL BUILDING PROJECT
Through your support we have been able to contribute $10,000 towards the building costs of the Peace Child children’s home! Our Wings team just returned from paying them a visit the end of November - we loved getting to spend time teaching and loving on them! We’re looking forward to showing you picture updates of our time with them and on their building progress soon!

As I write this letter I’m in Nepal and am filled with both excitement and thankfulness to see all that God has been doing this year and in recent months! Because of His faithfulness working through partners like you we are able to make a difference in the lives of 233 children in our partner homes each month all across Asia! That doesn't even include those being reached in the surrounding communities as well!

I want you to know how highly I value your prayers for all our ministry endeavors and for my team and I. We can’t do any of this without the hand of God and His direction each step of the way. My prayers for you too are that God would speak clearly to your heart concerning the areas you are asking His direction for - that you would be right in the middle of His plan and where He wants you to be. Our Shepherd is always faithful to lead us to the right place.
