What's happened to Io Amo Fatto a Mano!
Dear friends,
maybe you're asking yourselves the reason why you've received this email... I've met each of you in different periods of my life, but all of you were interested in what's happening to me and my project named Io Amo Fatto a Mano.
The reason why I've decided to write a newsletter instead of writing directly in person is that you are really a lot!! And the time is Always not enough to mke all the things that I wish and want and have to make!
So, after postponing for too many months waiting to have the time to write you personally, now it is the time to tell you about the steps made with Io Amo Fatto a Mano project since June 2015!

- September 2015: thanks to a contact from Magliuomini FB Group, my first job will be to translate knit and crochet pattern into dutch language for a dutch reseller that import italian wool in the Netherlands and Belgium [http://www.bnagenturen.nl/brei-haakpatronen/]. Our collaboration is still on, and the news for 2016 would come soon!
- October 2015: I took part in a competition for designers, for the Tintoria di Quaregna company in Italy (a wool producer) and promoted by the Magliuomini FB Group. My design named "10 e lode" for a cowl+hat is one of the winners!! [Read more...]
You can see my models on the recording of the presentation made on QVC (italian TV channel for shopping - only italian Language - Youtube), the anchorwoman has them in her hands, and Others are laying on the table, in bordeaux and lilac colors!
- November 2015: some of my accessories were selected to be sold in the new shop in Gennep named Opvallend Goed, and they are also showed in the main window! New contacts also with 2 woolshops in Nijmegen: Wol Outlet scheduled 4 workshops in November and December, and with Lulay we are planning the meetings for the next year.
- December 2015: new contact with +SIER new shop in Groesbeek, it sells high quality fashion accessories, from Italy too. We have to arrange a meeting about the new Kit Fashion Collection to spring/summer 2016

- Creativity groups that I met regularly: Think Talk and Play Nijmegen Meetup Group (monthly), Haakavond in de Oude Werkplaats (monthly), Talk & Crafts Fb Group (wekly), Bier&Breien (weekly)
- Teaching: from september 2015 on I am a voluntary teacher at the Montessori College in Groesbeek. On Wednesday afternoon I teach extra activities to pupils from 12 to 14 years old. The first turnation was in september/october: I teached in english language to 7 boys and girls how to make a website with Joomla Open Source. You can see theyr pages at there URLs: www.citiesofsummer.tk and www.quizzkingdom.tk. The second turnation started in November, I'm teaching again how to make a website to 6 boys, and other 7 girls and 1 boy will learn crochet and knit in dutch Language! I need to learn more the language, but they are helping me a lot :)
Thanks to the Croudfunding done before leaving in June I managed the costs for living, eating and moving until September. The translation job and the design for the competition will let me manage all the costs until the end of the year. And for the new years new projects as jobs are coming: please finger cross for me!!
