Joggers suffer from stress fractures from time to time.  This may seem surprising as weight bearing activity is considered a preventative strategy to reduce osteoporosis and bone fragility.  The question is often asked, ‘how did I get a stress fracture, I drink plenty of milk and I run every day?’
