Next Sunday (20th December) we have a Cafe Service with Nativity in the morning, and a Carol Service in the evening.

Solar Lights Required for Carol Service!
|
|
|
Yes, you heard right, we're after solar powered garden lights for the Carol service... Over the last couple of years the tea lights we've had in jam jars have not been very successful, especially in bad weather. It has been suggested that we use solar powered garden lights instead, but this is only viable if we can borrow sufficient lights. If you have any you can lend for that night please let John Pearson know thanks.

Whats on over Christmas this year?
- Sunday 20th, 10:15am - Cafe Service with Children's Nativity - Join us for our popular cafe service, but this time with a difference! Our young children will be performing a nativity. This is a cafe service not to miss!
- Sunday 20th, 6pm - Candlelit Carol Service - come to our popular candlelit carol service as we celebrate Christmas together through traditional hymns and readings, then join us after ther service in the church hall for light refreshments.
- Thursday 24th 11:30pm - Christmas Eve Service - join us for a time of quiet reflection as we celebrate Christmas.
- Friday 25th, 10:30am - Christmas Day Service - a very popular family service celebrating the message of Christmas. Join us for a mixture of traditional carols, storytelling and a celebration of Jesus coming to this world to save us.

House & Small Groups
The following small groups meet regularly. They are a great way to get to know people in the church, learn more about God through Bible study, and support each other through the ups and downs of life.

Prayer Groups & Times
Meeting together to pray is so important! Below are the times when we pray together as church.
- Sunday’s 10:15am-10:30am Prayer for the Sunday Worship – Venue: Vestry.
- Tuesday’s 9:00am-10:00am Church Prayer Meeting – Venue: Vestry.
- Friday’s 9:00am Church Prayer Meeting – Venue: 27 Parsonage Way.
- Linton Christians Together – This is a new group that meets with other Christians in the village to pray for our community. Contact Donna Searle for more details.

Other Regular Activities
Here are some other activities to be aware of this week:
- Jelly Beans (Age 0-4), every Thursday 9:30-11:30am in the LFC church hall. Jelly Beans is a fun and friendly play-group for children in the Linton area – Just £1 per child
- Belleplates - Tuesday's at 7:45pm till about 9:-9:15pm in the Green Room. A great way to meet people and play a musical instrument together. All people welcome. Contact Peter Wheeler: 01223 971057.
