SCHOLARSHIPS & OPPORTUNITIES

NEW & Updated
Dear Prospective CASA Participant,
Cathi and I would like to to inform you about our CASA Mexico Study Abroad Program.  We have begun organizing the program for next summer's session and we hope you might like to join us.  We know that it will give you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself into the architecture, culture, art and history of Mexico, and a focused attention on your personal goals and perspective on your life as a creative person.
I have linked (below) information about CASA, the Center for Architecture Sustainability + Art.  The exact dates will be confirmed soon, but are tentatively set from May 26 through July 1, 2016.  Please find six (6) pages of information including the program description, itinerary, accommodations and facilities, information about San Miguel de Allende and Mexico City, as well as information about ourselves, since we head the program.  I have also included an online link to a magazine article with an accompanying slide show about CASA.
San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town, declared a National Treasure by Mexico in 1926 and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008.  In addition, "Conde Nast Traveler" magazine voted San Miguel de Allende the number one city in Mexico and the 7th best city in the world as a travel destination.  We have also attached below a 12 minute video entitled "El Corazon de Mexico" (The Heart of Mexico) about San Miguel de Allende.  This video gives an excellent overview of this extraordinary town, highlighting its historic architecture and diverse culture.
The cost of the CASA program will be finalized within the next couple of months, but we estimate it to be approximately $3,700, which includes lodging, two meals per day, entry fees and ground transportation.  Air fare and travel insurance are not included.
Cathi and I look forward to the possibility of having you as part of our program in Mexico next summer.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
All the best,
Steven
