For the first time in Little Cedars history, the senior robotics team has advanced to the Western Washington semifinals after competing in the regional qualifier a few weekends ago in Seattle. The senior team, aka "The Majestic Octopi" are the first team to advance in the 6 years that the First Lego League robotics program has existed at LCE. The senior team consists of sixth graders Ethan, Tyler and Joseph and fourth grader Andrew. Out of 29 teams, the Majestic Octopi placed 3rd overall in the robot games with their robot autonomously completing missions built out of Legos.
Holiday Affair Thank You
A HUGE thank you to our Holiday Affair Chair, Holly Young for doing an amazingly festive job putting together this years Holiday Affair. The event was fun and the crafts were a great variety of cute and useful items perfect for gift giving or to keep for yourself. All in all, a very successful and fun night! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who made this event possible, we truly couldn't do it without you!
Thank you also to everyone who donated mittens. The giant box was delivered to the Snohomish Food Bank, Cold Weather Shelter this week and they were thrilled to receive them!
