Challenge, change, and imperfection are not for everyone, but I am always grateful to have the experience of being able to grow and learn, and by this measure, it has been a very good year.

Highlights of my year:
  • I am excited to have created and led workshops in Creativity and Innovation, Open Innovation, Lean Product Management, Lean Customer Research™, and Storytelling.
  • I worked with a team to take a startup from an idea all the way to the app store—where it is languishing very, very quietly (and may actually be off the market) while the team reinvents it.
  • I had the opportunity to do customer research in healthcare and employment, two fascinating, fast-growing, and crazy-complex industries.
  • I got new tools: a GoPro for “field work”; an iPhone; and Invisionapp and proto.io for prototyping, and a few others.
I want to share with you a memorable list that initially came to me via my facebook feed. [See the list on the right.] The list is especially memorable because NEVER have I seen a list that was less like me (Alright, I’m okay with items 3, 9, and 11, and by the way, number 8 refers to meditation, not to being parked on your office chair in front of the computer).
We live in a hectic, electronically saturated, and somewhat broken world. These Zen things might be good to try.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU IN 2016
