Innovations in American Government - SEMIFINALIST

Harvard University recognized the City of Boise and its Department of Arts and History as a semifinalist for its 2015 Innovations in American Government Award, for the second time since 2013. The Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation applauded the commemoration of BOISE 150 -- the 150th anniversary of the city -- for how it brought the community together through programming rich with meaning, authenticity, relevance, and diversity. This engagement reinforced the importance of history, art and culture within this great community.

The Department of Arts and History is honored to be considered for this prestigious recognition among an impressive pool of local, state, federal, and tribal agencies.
