Students as agents in pedagogical change
Thursday 28th January, 4 - 5pm
|
Join Year 11 students from Passmores Academy to engage in dialogue surrounding effective and meaningful teaching and learning strategies and initiatives within lessons and within the wider context of education.
The students will discuss their experiences of working towards completing a Higher Project (mini research thesis) in an area of their choice. Many have also been involved in driving pedagogical change by teaching and observing lessons, engaging in regular dialogue with teaching and non teaching staff, and delivering CPD sessions, within their school and at conferences across the country.
Passmores Academy, a secondary school in Harlow, recently featured in the Educating Essex series.
This seminar is free to attend and all are welcome. To confirm attendance, please email the network here [lfl@educ.cam.ac.uk].

The Leadership for Learning network has continued to grow this year and we have been delighted to welcome new members to the network from around the world.
Our work this term has been focused on developing resources for colleagues interested in using the LfL framework and principles for school improvement. Further news on this in the new year.
Applications are currently open for the Educational Leadership and School Improvement masters at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education, which is underpinned by the LfL framework.
We are looking forward to working with as many of the network as possible in 2017.
Season's greetings from us all.
