Vayigash: Genesis 44:18-47:27
Judaism of the Week: Praying for rain
If you don't pay close attention to the daily prayers in Judaism, you might not know that there is a time we pray for rain, and a time when we pray for dew. With the onset of the winter season (and potentially Godzilla El Nino), let's find out about how and why Jews pray for rain, and be grateful that while we're far from eretz Yisrael, our experience with the land here isn't much different and we can identify!
