It's hard to believe we are closing out the year. So much has hapoened this past year at Abundant Life Church and we give God the praise! We saw 2 adults and 3 children give their hearts to the Lord and follow in believers baptism. We had our highest attendance at Lakota Pointe last month with 32 in attendance! We began meeting at Meadow Ridge and continue to build relationships there and look for new ways to encourage residents to come be part of the community. We are grateful God has given us great relationships with these two apartment complexes and are looking for another location to begin meeting. The relationships we have built at Heritagespring are such a blessing as well.
Church planting takes a lot of work and we couldn't do it without all those who have helped, who are currently helping and any others who will join us this next year. As we expand we will continue to need additional childcare helpers as well as people to help unload and set up at each complex as we live out our mission statement- Loving people where they are at. As we said last month, our desire is to help residents find love and acceptance in the community around them. You could join us in this journey and be a blessing to many people who don't have a network of friends to turn to guide and support them. Please let us know if you are interested in helping in any way!

Lakota Pointe
We will be beginning a series entitled "More Than Enough" by Jeff Iorg at the end of December. The first Monday we will be having our Christmas party. The families are invited to each decorate a few cookies to take home, sing some Christmas carols, play a passing the gift game that we will provide and hear the Christas message. Please be in prayer for all attending, especially those who may not know Christ, that they may come to embrace Him as their Savior.
We were blessed by the generosity of Lakota Hills members giving so over 50 Thanskgiving baskets could be given to families in need. Abundant Life Church was able to deliver 11 baskets to families at Lakota Pointe. A few of the families don't currently attend our small group but we are praying they may get involved in the near future. Thank you to everyone who gave to Lakota Hills to make this possible and thank you to all who came out to deliver these very special meals!
The Lord is continuing to move in the Mitchell / Howard household. Jeremiah was baptized at the end of November and his brother, Elijah got baptized December 6. The mission teams who came in over the summer to invest in these children's lives have made an eternal impact. We look forward to teams coming in next summer to continue building on the foundation that was laid in others lives as well.

Heritagesprings of West Chester
We had 51 residents the first Sunday in November and 40 the second week. If you are free either of the first two Sundays of the month and would like to be blessed, come join us as we bring residents to chapel to love on them and brighten their day. We would love to have you! We not only minister to the residents but to the families as well. We have several family members attend worship with the residents and many have told us how much they enjoy being able to come worship with their loved ones. The aides also appreciate what Abundant Life Church does at their facility. We not only bring them a word from the Lord, we personally engage with them and that's something many of them don't often get. We are thankful for this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Meadow Ridge and North Pointe
We could use prayer for these locations. We aren't having great success getting the ladies to commit to small group. We started out our first small group with more than we were expecting, but the numbers have declined for various reasons, one of the main ones being job related. We have begun tutoring there on Wednesdays in hopes to start relationships, unfortunately none of the parents bring or pick up their kids. We sent home invitations with these kids to our December 21 small group where we will be having our Christmas party. We will decorate cookies, sing Christmas carols, play a pass the gift game where we will provide a small gift to each child and parent as well as hear the Christmas story. Please pray that some of these children's parents would attend this fun event so we can have the opportunity to meet them and personally invite them to attend our small group meetings. We are also helping with a Christmas luncheon their on December 13 put on by Pathways Foundation. Parents are supposed to attend this luncheon with their children so we hope to make a few connections there as well. Sadly as of a few days ago not one parent had called to reserve a spot. These children come to the tutoring program to get a meal each Wednesday and attention from others that they are lacking at home, it's heartbreaking and we would love to be able to help build stronger family relationships but God is going to have to move mightily here. Won't you pray for these families?

Support our Ministry
We appreciate ALL support for the ministry, we can't do it without the help of others. If you are able to financially support us we would be eternally grateful!!
You can support our ministry in three different ways:
PRAYING
A praying partner commits to praying specifically for my wife and I, our ministry, and our multi-housing residents. Prayer support is vital for us as we serve on the field!
PARTICIPATING
A participating partner commits to becoming involved personally in our ministry. For example, your church may want to send mission teams to assist us or seek to mobilize individuals within your church to be sent as short or long term missionaries as part of our planting team.
PROVIDING
A providing partner commits to supporting our ministry financially. All funds will be handled and deposited by our NAMB strategic partner, Lakota Hills Baptist Church in West Chester, Ohio. All donations are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to Lakota Hills Baptist Church. Be sure to include "Allen Lawless" on the memo line.
