Laos: New Destination brand for Southern Laos
When the topic of Laos tourism comes up, the conversation usually focuses on Vientiane or Luang Prabang. But Southern Laos is a true hidden gem when it comes to unique travel experiences in the Mekong Region, and allows to an unforgettable multi-country Mekong Experience combined with Northern Cambodia. 
Cambodia: Angkor Wat code of conduct video depicts offensive tourist behaviour 
A video about Angkor’s new behavioural code has been published telling tourists not to give to beggars, climb temples or take selfies with monks.  For the preservation and sustainable development of Angkor, please respect and share the Angkor Visitor Code of Conduct. Complying to the code of conduct will not only improves the joy of your visit but also contribute the preservation for Angkor. 
Viet Nam: UNWTO Workshop on Mekong River-based Tourism
The Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO) supported the recent UNWTO Workshop on Mekong River-based Tourism Development on November 19th in Da Nang, Viet Nam. Mekong River, one of the largest rivers in over the world, started running from China, through Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Cruising down the river, travelers will have amazing experiences with the blend of modern cities and peaceful floating villages. 
China: Yunnan attracts hotel investors
There’s little wonder as to why China’s Yunnan Province is growing in popularity as a travel destination. Boasting snow-capped mountains, alpine landscapes, pristine lakes, and wonderful mountain valleys, the sights here are utterly spectacular. With the hotel markets in China’s top tier cities increasingly crowded, investors are now shifting their focus to the more nature-friendly and idyllic locales.With the hotel markets in China’s top tier cities increasingly crowded, investors are now shifting their focus to the more nature-friendly and idyllic locales. 
Myanmar: Take the Yangon Circle Train for a unique experience
It is truly is a journey back in time – the diesel locomotives date to the 1960s and the tracks are even older. The loop will take to you through many lesser-known areas as well as those that are of great importance for the city’s six million inhabitants, and it includes pleasant rural scenery in the outer suburbs. 
Thailand: New campaign launched targeting the ultra-luxury traveller 
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched a new advert called ‘Where life rules everything’, a dream sequence of an ultra-luxe travel experience in Thailand targeted for Hong Kong tourists. The Kingdom also has a long tradition of catering to luxury travellers. In recent years, Thailand has seen the emergence of spectacular health and wellness resorts, and intimate boutique pool villas located in some of the most scenic parts of the Kingdom.
