Hello <<First Name>>

We hope you’re having great festive time wherever you are!

This time of year tends to allow a little time to think ahead to the approaching New Year and perhaps to make some motorhoming plans….

2016 Plans

A: Yours - We’d all love to hear about fellow members plans for 2016 (mostly motorhome related of course).

I have started a forum thread Plans for 2016 so please take the opportunity to post about where you are going or what you are planning to do during the forthcoming year.

B. The Club Motorhome website - Well, I’m delighted to say that it grows from strength to strength and 2016 is looking bright!.

Apart from the usual efforts to grow the website features including listings of pub-type stopovers and European stopovers I would really like to build on the success of our stopovers with video content.

Modern technology including dash cams and, now common, mobile phones with inbuilt cameras make this easier than ever to do.

I am asking all members to please take a little video of anywhere visited or used as a stop-over. The clip only needs to be around 30 seconds long as doesn’t have to include any commentary, or titling/captions etc. unless you’d like to of course. Dash cam footage of the approach to a stopover is also great.

What to do with your video clips….

If you have your own YouTube account simply upload them to it, let me know and I’ll extract the code from there so that those clips can be embedded into the relevant Club Motorhome listings. If you don’t have your own YouTube account it’s free to set up, use and upload videos onto.

Example of a member’s own stopover on their own YouTube channel:

Motorhome Aire Vic Spain

OR, you can simply email it to me at webmaster@clubmotorhome.co.uk and as long as you are happy for me to do so, I will upload it/them as a member contribution onto Club Motorhome’s own YouTube channel.

Example of member supplied video clip emailed to me:

Camper Área M&H "El Rincón"

Important info regarding Club Motorhome stopovers

All our listings contain information that is unique to Club Motorhome - we do not harvest other databases and claim huge numbers of listings. All ours are individually researched, compiled and in very many cases visited, reviewed, photographed and videoed where possible by ourselves or our members (in addition, our pub type stopovers are always contacted to gain permission to list). Photographs are genuine - they are not Google Streetview screenshots or ‘lifted’ from other websites etc…

Updating these stopovers is very much a community effort with update forms available for each individual listing and also a comment box for visitor feedback.

Information on our stopovers is some of the best available and is getting better all the time.

Membership is required to view all the listings - if you are not already a member and would like to know what is available to a Full Member please read this [link]

And finally…

A big thank you to our members for their continued support and to those who have yet to join, we wish you a very happy and healthy New Year and look forward to welcoming you to Club Motorhome on the website and hopefully seeing some of you on the road in the future.

Safe and happy travels
