Several of our chapters held their annual meetings and conferences this fall - our Mid-Atlantic Marine Education Association chapter held their annual conference at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and whales took center stage at the Gulf of Maine Marine Education Association annual meeting.

- Board member Sean Russell is working with EarthEcho International to create its inaugural Youth Leadership Council. This will be a group of up to 15 young people who will have the unique opportunity to provide input to and assist in the development of environmental education and conservation based programs engaging young people on a global scale.
