NCCID Alert: Emerging Infectious Diseases & Outbreaks
December 22, 2015
DISEASE DEBRIEF: MERS-CoV

Our inaugural Emerging Infectious Diseases & Outbreaks Alert shines a light on our Disease Debriefs, up-to-date reviews of essential information on prominent infectious diseases for Canadian public health practitioners and clinicians. Joining NCCID's roster of resources for Ebola and EV-D68 is our newest Debrief about MERS-CoV (Middle Eastern Respiratory Coronavirus). In it, we explore four questions:
  1. What are its important characteristics?
  2. What is happening with current outbreaks?
  3. What is the current risk for Canadians?
  4. What measures should be taken for a suspected case or contact?
