For this end of year greeting, we chose an image capturing HARBEC’s Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) machine in use. The image shows what look like fireworks, dancing and celebrating, as layer upon layer of metal is fused by a laser to create exceptional precision parts. For more than ten years HARBEC has been integrating additive manufacturing (AM) technologies like DMLS into our manufacturing processes, and as solutions for our customers. How things have changed since we started HARBEC nearly 40 years ago in a barn!
Today AM technologies hold great potential for the future of manufacturing and of HARBEC. We are anxious to discover where technology like AM will take us in 2016 and beyond. But wherever technology goes, HARBEC will, with a laser like focus, continue to meld business relationships and add layers of depth and differentiation to our capabilities from investments made in new technology and innovation. In doing so HARBEC will, like the sparkling fireworks raining from a DMLS machine, continue to illuminate and deliver a sense of possibility, wonder, and unparalleled value to our cherished employees and customers.
