It was a rush this year, but we are happy to show the crew of Sailboat BOB have finally gotten their Christmas packages in the mail...
This year's holiday photo was taken at Marjorie and Grand Pacific Glaciers in Glacier Bay. Thanks to the Ham group for not laughing too hard at us.
It was a tropical green Christmas. Holiday cheer was discovered in Florida this December. The crew decided to celebrate in a place where the only way you can tell it's the Holidays is the music in the stores... Though this manatee sure looked like he was enjoying the winter rainy season.
Before our escape to the Everglades, we spent some quality time in Washington DC for a family reunion. Monuments, museums, friends and family were all enjoyed. Meeting up with BOB friends is always fun, and it was great lunching with Heather and Amy, sailors from this summer.

Spotting Southeast Alaskan artist Ray Troll's work in the Smithsonian was also a treat.
Even Sailboat BOB got a lil' old stocking stuffer this Christmas. Here's Blain playing Santa with a new mainsail from Scott Rush at Neil Pryde Sails. We are planning a volunteer party to re-attach and raise the new sail and are looking forward to our celebratory sail. Now if he could figure out how to lift the 165# sail without a hernia.
We are headed into the new year with a quickly filling schedule for next summer. There are several sailing trips still open, including a couple to GLACIER BAY(!).  For more info see our available trips page.
And just so we remember what's it's all about.
Join the fun this summer.
Drop us a note. We'd love to hear from you.
