Our sincere thanks to everyone for the support provided to CTS in 2015. It has been another very busy and successful year, thanks to our sponsors, youth and their families. Together we are creating the next generation of youth leaders and strengthening our regional parks and local communities in the Metro Vancouver Region.
On behalf of the Board and Staff, we wish you a happy holiday and another successful year in 2016.
Best wishes,
Robert (Bob) Gunn

Helping the Surrey Urban Mission
On Saturday December 12, members of the CTS Youth Council and CTS volunteers joined the Surrey Urban Mission (SUM) volunteers and staff to help serve breakfast to those in need - and the need is great with a rising number of homeless and low income families in Surrey. CTS also delivered much needed winter clothing and non-perishable food collected through recent CTS Youth Council events. With smiles and warm hello's, CTS youth greeted and welcomed those arriving for breakfast and helped where help was needed! Special thanks SUM volunteers, especially Brenda Locke and SUM Board Chair John Wolff, who looked after CTS during our visit and to Mike Musgrove, Executive Director, for setting up the volunteer opportunity. CTS will be organizing further opportunities to volunteer and support the SUM. Way to go CTS team!
Membership has rewards.... In 2016 CTS will need to raise close to $200,000 to continue delivering this amazing program free! Funding the program is becoming more challenging. To help fund the program, CTS is looking to diversify our funding sources. How can you help? Become a member of the Catching The Spirit Youth Society. By establishing a membership CTSYS will be able to apply for BC Provincial Gaming Grants and other sources of funding previously not available to CTS. Memberships are only $15.
