Join us for our Community potlucks!  Bring your favorite dish to share: salad, main course or dessert!
TNS  provides a hot lunch for the clients (the numbers vary from 60+ to 100) at the Prado Day Center (43 Prado Road, SLO) 
 
These are the dates for 2016:
  • Jan 5th
  • March 1st
  • May 3rd
  • July 5th
  • Sept. 6th
  • Nov 1st
We serve lasagna (meat/cheese or veggie), a hot vegetable dish (corn/beans, etc.) milk, oranges, bread/butter and cookies. 
 
We start set-up at 11:30 am and start serving at noon and finish by approximately 12:30 pm.
 
All food should be delivered to Prado hot and ready to eat (there are no ovens available).
 
We are always looking for new members to assist us. If the times don't work for you certain, food can be brought to the Prado office earlier and left for us such as milk, oranges, bread/butter and  cookies. Please contact me as soon as possible so I can add you to our schedule!

Serve the homeless on Christmas!

The SLO Jewish community has provided our county’s homeless with an unforgettable feast and entertainment on Christmas Day for 18 years. Please join us! If you're able to cook and/or participate at this event, please sign-up here.

Provide warmth for the homeless!

As we anticipate an unbelievably wet winter, please help us provide warm, dry clothing to those without shelter. You can donate either by visiting the United Way SLO website or mail a check to: United Way SLO at PO Box 14309, SLO, CA 93406 ~ Please write ‘Coats for Christmas’ in the memo!!
