Notes from the Podium
by Debbie Walden and Robin Rice

While you're enjoying your break from school, and enjoying your holidays, don't forget to set aside time to practice your Sinfonia music! We have 4 more rehearsals before our next concert! Remember to practice the fast pieces slowly, being careful of your rhythms and your intonation. Then slowly increase the tempo, still listening carefully to what you are playing. Using a metronome is a great way to practice. If you don't have a metronome, maybe you could ask Santa for one :)

Enjoy your break and return to rehearsal with your music much improved! See you "next year"!!!
