LC Foods has had a significant breakthrough in the research and development of a gluten replacement and this technology is being shared with you here in our LC-Fresh Baked Gluten Free White Bread.
We always have felt that our previous Gluten Free Bread Mix was sub-standard, but it was the best we could do at the time. Behind the scenes, we have been working tirelessly for many years now to develop this state of the art "gluten replacement" to be used in all of our gluten free baking products, and we have finally done it!
Until now, you have had two options for gluten free bread:
1. Bread made using rice starch or potato starches with loads of carbohydrates
2. Bread made using gluten free flours but with a cakey, crumbly, gummy and/or dry texture.
Both options are nothing that anyone would call “real” bread. Making gluten free bread with the proper stretch characteristics, but also low in carbs, was thought to be virtually impossible...until now!
