In 2016, we will hire our first paid Executive Director to lead this fabulous organization. We are so excited to take this big step towards greater growth and sustainability.

We’ve come so far on all-volunteer energy. Over the past 10 years, the African Library Project has established 1,720 libraries in 11 countries – that’s 1,800,000 books in the hands of rural African readers – thanks to your passion and commitment!  The addition of a capable Executive Director will allow us to reach more English-language African countries, establish new partnerships in the USA, and create the infrastructure necessary to leverage our outstanding volunteers like you.
