The Florida Everglades are an unparalleled landscape that provide important habitat for numerous rare and endangered species like the manatee, American crocodile, and the elusive Florida panther. Alligators are also an important part of the Everglades ecosystem and are considered a keystone species of the park. On this trip, we will be visiting Immokalee's Lake Trafford for an airboat ride to see these amazing creatures. With 3,500 gators within the lake, spotting gators will be no problem.
