As you know that the recent flooding in Chennai and nearby provinces caused much devastation and left many helpless families without food, clothing and shelter.
The flood wreaked havoc as these areas continued to be lashed by the heaviest downpour in 100 years. Millions were affected and thousands lost their homes and are currently living in unhealthy areas. Children and the elderly are the most vulnerable.
Ann Foundation is raising funds to distribute relief kits to the flood victims. Items listed below will be purchased and packaged in India. Ann Foundation volunteers will personally visit the districts – Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Virudhunagar – in January 2016, and distribute the flood relief kits.
We understand some of you may have also been involved in the initial relief efforts; however, a lot still needs to be done. Every dollar you donate will help save a child’s life.
- $10 will provide clothes for a child
- $20 can feed a child for a month
- $30 can help buy items like toothbrush, toothpaste, clothes, shoes for a child
- $50 can feed and help buy essential items for a family of four
No amount is too small. Please help.
