Sunday's Message: "Shift Your Relationship with People"
Philippians 2:1-18
"Please use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight." This, or something similar to it, is the message we hear after our flight lands and we begin to gather our belongings. "Heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight." The shift in our items wasn't intentional, but because of the motion of plane, the take off and the landing, or maybe even some unfortunate turbulence, none the less, the items may have shifted.
As we shift our relationship with God, suddenly we begin to notice other areas of our lives begin to shift. It might not be intentional, or maybe it is, but as we change our relationship with God, even in a way that is a slight alteration, other areas are altered as well. This week we will take a look at how our relationship will shift as we shift our relationship with God.

Attention: PHCC Women
If you are interested in attending Covenent Women's Triennial July 28th through July 31st in Kansas City the early registration deadline is January 15th. With 10 or more attending we get a group rate reduction. Early registration fee is $100.00 with the balance due by June 15th. If you are interested, please make out a check in the amount of $50.00 and give to Lisa Ross or Karin Youngberg by Wednesday, January 13th.
We will have a meeting this Sunday, January 10th, after worship up by the organ. See you there and bring your check for $50.00!!

Looking for your pictures!
If you have any pictures from the past year at church that you would be willing to share, please email them to Pastor Jill at jill@prairiehills.org by Monday, January 11th. She will be using them for our annual slideshow for our Annual Meeting.

Women's Bible Study
The next women's bible study will be a study of the book, 1 Peter. Brooke, our student intern, will be leading this study. It will start on Thursday, February 4th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm through Thursday, March 24th in the Fireside Room.

Upcoming JFA Mission Trips
JFA leads annual mission trips each January and February. Their first one of 2016 is to an orphanage in Juarez, Mexico. The orphanage is in need of a few items: usable full-size mattress sets; gas stove; gas dryer; full-size refrigerators; apartment size refrigerators; microwaves; and electric space heaters. If are able to help with any of these items, please contact JFA at 712-476-2804 or drop off the items at the Rock Valley center by January 9th.
