HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!

Let's hope for better weather and drier pitches so that we can see some football in Ross soon.

The Aston Villa v Liverpool trip has now been confirmed (info below) so please make sure you don't miss the deadline on this. Our changing room poster competition has been extended for a few weeks so you still have a chance to see your child's picture on the wall!

Many thanks for your continued support.

Your RJFC Committee
POSTER COMPETITION EXTENDED

We have received a number of entries now for the changing room poster competition but in all fairness not everybody would have had a chance to take a picture of their little footballer as we haven't had many games on recently.

If you would like to enter please send a good photo of your child in full Ross Juniors kit from a game, training session or even a staged photo to paulflitney@gmail.com by 15th February 2016. Every winner will also receive a club hoodie and will be invited to a small unveiling when the images are on the wall.
Club trip to a Premiership game, Aston Villa vs Liverpool, Sunday 14th February

An ideal and convenient way to see a Premiership game without the hassle of booking tickets and sorting travel. Watch two Premiership giants (ok maybe in the 1980s!) battle it out or if you don’t support either team just come along for the experience. A few Man Utd fans have spoken about becoming Villa fans for the day and Villa Park is one of the Premierships best grounds.

Coaches will be leaving Ross at 10am, so giving you plenty of time before 1.30pm kick off to explore the ground and surrounding areas, visit club shop or get something to eat. The coach will come back after the game and be back in Ross for approximately 6pm.

Cost which includes coach travel is £42 for adults, £35 for concessions (18-21, student over 21 or over 65s) £30 for under 18s and £25 for Under 8s.

Please note we are in the North Stand upper tier at Villa Park so no Liverpool colours allowed to be worn on the day.

To book tickets email
info@rossjuniorsfc.com stating how many and in which category. The payments for this must be in by January 18th, no tickets will be booked without payment. Payment can be made to your team's coach by cash or cheques payable to Ross Juniors Football Club. The trip needs minimum numbers of 40 to go ahead.

The club and the committee would like to put on record our gratitude and thanks to Pat Hughes who has decided to step down as a club secretary after many years of exemplary service to the club. Pat will be sorely missed but will still be involved with the club and the CIC.

We would also like to thank Mike Tompkins for stepping forward to replace Pat. Mike can be contacted on 07825 083311 or mike.tompkins20@btinternet.com.
