2016 Membership and Sponsorship Drives
Underwood Hills Neighborhood Association is able to function and advocate on behalf of the neighborhood thanks to the generosity of our neighbors and neighborhood business sponsors. Membership and sponsorship run on a calendar year basis, meaning everyone is due to renew for 2016! Please go to http://www.underwoodhills.org/join/ to renew your membership or join anew for 2016. Remember, you must be a current UHNA member to vote at the meetings.

City of Atlanta Zoning Re-Write Assessment
One of the new initiatives the City will be embarking on in 2016 is re-writing the City’s Zoning Code. This will be a long process; the Zoning Code has not been updated since 1985. But it will also be a time that citizens can provide their input on what works best for their neighborhoods and communities when it comes to zoning policy.
The Department of Planning, which will be overseeing the re-writing process, has set up two public input meetings in January, which will be led by a team of consultants. The first will be held next Monday, January 11th and the second on Tuesday, January 12th. Please see below for details on time and location. Since Monday's meeting coincides with our UHNA meeting, we hope you'll attend Tuesday's and provide the public input necessary to make sure our City’s Zoning Code takes into account current and future zoning needs in our community.
